MTI Group has a 4-tiered service offering for its engine starting products.

3. Service Exchange (SX) 
4. Planned Maintenance Replacement (PMR)

PMR is designed to be our fourth tier of gas starter service offering. The operating premise is that the starter will be serviced at the same time as the major engine overhaul, which is normally annually. Just as other major components are serviced proactively to minimize unscheduled service interruptions, with PMR we propose that engine starting equipment be considered in the same light. In terms of pricing PMR is positioned below our current service exchange service, providing customers with the lowest life cycle cost solution, with all PMR starters carrying a 6-month warranty.
